RPS Collective

RPS Collective is a saxophone, percussion, and piano trio based in Washington, DC. Capitalizing on the versatility of their instruments, RPS plays repertoire from Baroque to ultra-contemporary, arranging trios in a variety of styles and commissioning new works. Dedicated to education as well as performance, RPS seeks to engage audiences by including candid explanations during performances, hosting post-concert discussions, and offering clinics and master classes on a variety of topics. With a mid atlantic tour, two world premieres, and a recording project in the works, RPS is introducing audiences to its inrtiguing new sound and exciting approach to chamber music.
Jeremy Koch, Molly Orlando and Dennis Hoffman will present a series of concerts for saxophone, piano and percussion. Featuring a commissioned work by Eastman School of Music faculty composer, Matt Curlee; the program also features music of Marc Mellits and arrangements of J.S. Bach and Astor Piazzolla.
